Tired

Ask yourself, “Why am I tired?” If it’s because you haven’t had a good night of sleep in 5 days then get some sleep. Preparing for boards is a marathon—it’s not a sprint. You don’t have to study 20 hours a day for 6 months. All you need is quality study time and if you’re tired right now you’re probably not getting it. So relax and get some sleep. You need it, your body needs it, and most of all your brain needs it! (Yes, they are all the same thing)
If you’re tired because you put in an exhausting 10-hour day of studying then GOOD WORK! Get a good night of sleep and get ready to do it all over again tomorrow! If you continue this pattern, you will be prepared come test time!

Tip for Coffee Lovers:
Coffee can help you but it can also hurt you. Have you ever had one of those nights when you’re drinking cup after cup of coffee and still falling asleep in your book? Then you decide to go to bed and can’t fall asleep for two hours. Coffee is very helpful for long days of studying but make sure you stop drinking it or any other caffeine products 3 hours before you plan to go to sleep. This should give you adequate time to be able to fall asleep when you want to.
